The Aquilion LightningSP is a multislice CT system of 80 rows 0.5 mm slice thickness and 0.5 sec rotation time, while it has a wide range of anatomical coverage of 40mm either with axial or helical scanning.
It has excellent applications for radiation dose reduction such as iterative AIDR 3D Enhanced algorithms, sureExposure and sureKV for optimal radiation dose calculation for all anatomical regions.
In addition, all the advanced adaptive diagnostics applications such as sure Subtraction for angiography, vHP (Variable helical pitch) for scanning large anatomical areas with different resolution and SEMAR for the reduction of artifacts caused by metals.
